ABOUT JADE

Jade April (she/her/hers), is an actress/singer/strong mover who is currently based in the greater Boston area!

Her career began at age 11, when she would force her younger brother to learn all of the lyrics to Taylor Swift’s hit songs “You belong with me” and “Love Story”, for family living room performances!

This would eventually lead to her community theatre stage debut as Babette, in Beauty and the Beast, and the rest is history!

Jade graduated in December of 2022 from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Theatre Performance with a minor in Gender and Racial Studies! Her most notable credits include Nun ensemble/Von Trapling vocalist in Ogunquit Playhouse’s The Sound of Music, Alice in Wonderland (RWS Global) Tina in R.L Stine’s Goosebumps (Firehouse Center for The Arts) Bless the Lord Soloist in Godspell (Firehouse Center for the Arts) Rapunzel in Into the Woods, (University of New Hampshire), Whatsername in American Idiot (Stadium Theatre) and Heather MacNamara in Heathers (Uncommon Theatre Company)

In her free time, Jade can be found thrifting, catching up on the latest makeup trends, and (when the weather gets chilly enough) hitting the slopes!
